Travelling to Badcaul from the south, best approach is to take the A9 north from Perth to Inverness, cross the Beauly Firth by the Kessock Bridge and then follow the signs for Ullapool. Twelve miles before reaching Ullapool at the Braemore Junction take the A832 to Dundonnell. After Dundonnel Hotel travel up the lochside and take the right turn to Badcaul just as the road travels up the hill. Heathmount is the 5th house on your left after turning right. Heathmount is situated in a quiet crofting community with local shop, medical centre and church within walking distance. This Western Area of the Highlands is beautifully wild and wonderful –enjoy your time there.
